At the international level, the Persian Gulf is highly regarded by these powers because of its extraordinary importance in world energy supply, the dependence of leading industries and developed countries on this vital substance. The Strait of Hormuz is the only outlet to the Persian Gulf, and it is of international importance because all developed and dependent countries depend on oil exports from the Persian Gulf and more than half of the world's oil needs to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is the largest country in the Persian Gulf and has the largest geographical area and protection positions in this region. Therefore, the Strait of Hormuz is very important and in fact is considered the gateway to Iran with the region and the world. This descriptive-analytical article seeks to answer the question of what are the benefits of the geopolitics of the Strait of Hormuz for the interests and security of Iran in the Persian Gulf region and the world? Findings show that the Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Persian Gulf has provided Iran with a position that in all equations and geopolitical calculations by different countries to evaluate and consider the balance of power in our regions. The Strait of Hormuz can also be a unifying factor and the basis for border solidarity between Iran and the countries of the Persian Gulf region.
